Data Engineers — Always Hiring.

We place Data engineers across the United States as roles open with our clients. Submitting your profile adds you to our talent network for current and upcoming consideration.

We routinely place data engineers, analytics engineers, and data-platform engineers with our partner vendors' clients across the US — major tech metros and remote-eligible markets. Roles span warehouse / lakehouse build-outs, streaming pipelines, dbt-native analytics engineering, and data-platform infra. We work with engineers from junior through principal, on W-2, 1099, and C2C engagement models. Submit your profile here to be considered for current and upcoming roles. We don't post phantom jobs — we post when we have something real, and we keep your profile in our active bench between engagements.

What we typically place

  • Data engineers building warehouses / lakehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
  • Analytics engineers (dbt + Looker / Tableau)
  • Streaming / Kafka engineers for real-time pipelines
  • Data platform engineers building shared infra for analyst teams
  • Senior+ engineers leading data-org build-outs end-to-end

What we look for

  • Production warehouse experience — modeling, partitioning, cost-aware query patterns
  • dbt or equivalent: tested transformations, not notebooks
  • Comfort with at least one orchestrator (Airflow / Dagster / Prefect) in real prod
  • Ability to talk to analysts and engineers — both halves of the data org
  • Real opinions on data-modeling patterns (Kimball, OBT, data vault)

Common interview themes

  • Warehouse query optimization and cost engineering
  • Pipeline orchestration patterns and failure handling
  • Data modeling — star / OBT / data-vault trade-offs, slowly-changing dimensions
  • Streaming vs batch trade-offs and exactly-once semantics
  • Schema evolution and contract-testing in pipelines

Current market signal

Analytics-engineering reqs (dbt + warehouse) are saturated — many candidates list dbt experience but few have shipped a contract-tested production transformation layer. Pure data-engineering reqs (streaming, orchestration, platform) are harder to fill at the senior level. Hot 2026 area: data engineers who can also handle ML feature pipelines as the analytics + ML divide flattens. Pay rates have stabilized after 2024's contraction.

Typical engagement

Data and analytics roles are usually W-2 contract or contract-to-hire because client orgs want continuity for warehouse ownership. C2C is common at principal/staff. ABC-test states (CA, NJ, MA, IL) are W-2 only.
